About The Designer:

Zak Kaplan has been an active member of the New Jersey Punk and Hardcore scene for over half his life, both as an artist and musician (along with label owner, show promoter, zine editor, merch guy, record store dude, and all around slave and shitworker). During Kaplan's years at the Mason Gross School of Art at Rutgers University, where he graduated with a B.F.A. in Visual Art with a concentration in photography, he used stolen Kinko cards to begin experimenting with photocopy machines as well as running up hundreds (if not thousands) of unpaid hours on their computer stations.

Since then he has gone on to create designs for bands such as The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Bouncing Souls, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, Bigwig, Catch 22, Vision, River City Rebels, Off With Their Heads, countless other bands, artists, and independent companies, as well as his own bands Worthless United, Rock,Star, Miss TK and the Revenge, and The Ratchets. His client list includes labels and publications such as Victory Records, Alternative Press, Fearless Records, Punk Rock Confidential, Hopeless Records, and many more.

Zak Kaplan is currently the art director and project manager for the Bouncing Souls' Chunksaah Records and freelances with his own design company, Rogue State Design.
